Looks pretty great! I just built a U/W Ojutai control deck and this is giving me some good ideas. I'm very interested in Sunscorch Regent, let me know if he works well for you.

If you'd like to check my Ojutai's Lessons in Control and see if that gives you ideas or if you have ideas to give. It's still a work in progress so I'll be updating frequently.

Good luck!

Im guessing because she's bad, at least in a Control Shell - regardless for 4 CMC Jace, the Living Guildpact is better for Control. He digs 2 deep and guarantees a spell in hand (narset bricks 50% of the time) and he enables stuff like Dig Through Time, his Minus slows them down and allows you to counter stuff that slipped through the cracks, and his ultimate is devastating (you have a full grip while your opponent top decks lol..)

Encase in Ice is a necesarry component to get rid of Stormbreath Dragon.

I like Silumgar's Scorn much more than the Stubborn Denial.

Ugin, the Spirit Dragon doesn't play nice with Myth Realized I suggest you drop 1 of them. (I suggest dropping Ugin just because you have so many enchantments.)

Reality Shift is a better option since your encase in ice can get Destructive Revelry or Erase which R/G and R/W both run these cards.

Since you have 5 dragons, you can use Silumgar's Scorn instead of Stubborn Denial

Man, I'm starting to feel like I'm moderating a forum! Thanks for all of the comments, guys. This is my last post before I reset the conversation... Made some changes, and I'll be updating the description shortly to defend myself.

The cards you guys suggested that didn't make the cut:

Now I'm off to fix up my description!

Hey again, loving the build! It seems a lot more streamlined and ready to answer what is thrown your way. I'd +1 but already done it before lol. I know you're not running it (I moved it to board in mine aswell) but remember Banishing Light can hit a PW or another enchant, doesn't have to be a creature!

All in all, very impressed with the deck bud! Check out the changes in mine so far too, very happy at the moment though my SB looks a mess, there is a method to the madness lol - UW Control

Cheers! :)

With you 5 dragons main you could play Silumgar's Scorn instead of stubborn denial

Somnus21 says... #14

Except mathematically, about 8-10 dragons is the number you need for consistency with these types of spells.

I have a Blue White Dragon control deck i say that 6 is the right number

March 27, 2015 6:14 a.m.

SpikedEggnog says... #16

yeah 6 is pretty good, i run 6 in my Bant deck but have 3 Sarkhan too so its a virtual 9.

March 27, 2015 6:27 a.m.

Somnus21 says... #17

Eh, they're just general guidelines anyway. Oh, and what spells are you running Dragons for anyway? If it's just prerogative, then 6 is good.

March 27, 2015 7:37 a.m.

Somnus21 says... #18

Oh wait, so Scorn, then. Well, early game I guess using it without Dragons is OK. By the time you reach Turn 6, you'd have a dragon to activate it properly. So yeah, I guess 6 is an okay number.

Have you ever tried out Soulfire Grand Master i think that it could take the spot of the rams.

March 27, 2015 1:26 p.m.

kozmin says... #21

Why would he run Soulfire Grand Master, without any type of burn spell to profit from it..

March 27, 2015 2:36 p.m.

ControlLeader says... #22

Because if you top deck this late game over the ram it has a better ability you dont need the burn think of having Dissolve with buy back.

kozmin can you take a look at my build.

Defpotec says... #24

I'm not interested in paying 4 for buyback...

March 27, 2015 3:21 p.m.

You should at least try it
