This was a test to see if I can build a reasonable Soul Sisters main deck for $50 or less (or more like $70 for me as I'm Canadian) as I'd like to put one together to play against my friends. I think in theory it should work pretty well, but feedback from people that have actually played the deck is always appreciated.
There are two obvious changes I made to try to keep the price down. The first is to remove the pretty much ubiquitous Archangel of Thune and replacing it with the alternate win condition and much cheaper card, Felidar Sovereign. The second change is to remove the expensive Path to Exiles and replace them with Ixalan's Binding, which I personally like more than Cast Out, due to the ability to completely remove a set of up to 4 cards from the game, which is quite powerful against certain decks.
The spice that I wanted to bring to the deck is Oketra's Monument, which forces each of our Soul Sisters (plus the step-sister Suture Priest) to do double duty on each creature played, allowing Ajani's Pridemate to scale even faster and bringing Felidar Sovereign online even faster. That's not even mentioning the mana reduction that it brings, which is purely a bonus.
Unfortunately, it seems that with keeping all 4 Serra Ascendants in the deck, it's pretty much impossible to reasonably expect to stay under a $50 budget, which was the original goal, but $60-$70 dollars isn't too bad.
