My first Magic decks back in the mid-1990s were elf decks and i still like them. Fast, reliable, and fun. This one is a bit non-standard since it includes a handful of non-elf creatures just to add a bit more fat to the deck (deadbridge goliath, thorn elemental), along with a few cards to help you with card advantage (harmonize) The problem with elves is that you play your hand quickly then you are at the mercy of each draw from then on... :(
