Mogis' Minotaur Horde

Standard* BR (Rakdos) Casual Tribal

Arladys

Sideboard

A pretty straightforward tribal deck based on minotaurs.

The Army

Gnarled Scarhide: Good one drop with a minor drawback. Later in the game I can bestow it on one of my own creatures to pump it or on one of the opponent's to prevent it from blocking.

Rakdos Cackler: A versatile one drop. The only non-minotaur creature in this deck. However the lack of low cmc minotaurs makes this a necessity.

Deathbellow Raider: A 2/3 body for 2 that attacks each turn with an option to regenarate.

Felhide Petrifier: The first of our minotaur lords. Gives Deathtouch to my army. Combine with a Fall of the Hammer to remove select threaths.

Kragma Butcher: An ordinary minotaur alone. However with Felhide Petrifier on the field and with a Madcap Skills on him his inspired is bound to see use.

Ragemonger: Lowers the colored mana cost of my minotaurs. Gives a 2/3 body.

Rageblood Shaman: The second minotaur lord. This one gives Trample and a +1/+1 to the horde.

Mogis, God of Slaughter: The minotaurs' God. Pretty easy to get him to be a creature with this deck. Puts the pressure on the opponent with his ability.

Felhide Spiritbinder: Still have to playtest with this one. Currently a one of. Still, I can copy a Fanatic of Mogis for his etb effect or a Rageblood Shaman to give another +1/+1 for a turn. Can also copy an opponent's creature.

Fanatic of Mogis: Burns the opponent's life total away and it's a minotaur win-win for me.

Kragma Warcaller: The last minotaur lord. This one gives Haste and attacking minotaurs get +2/+0. With a Ragemonger out, costs 3.

The Spells

Madcap Skills: What's not to like with this one? Gives a +3/+0 and makes it so my opponent needs to block one creature with 2. Perfect when a Felhide Petrifier is on the battlefield. Works well with Kragma Butcher and Felhide Spiritbinder to trigger their inspired ability.

Fall of the Hammer: A pit fight without endangering my creatures? Sign me up! With a Felhide Petrifier I can use any of my creatures to remove my opponent's.

Thunderous Might: Works well with my other spells to either remove a huge creature with Fall of the Hammer or swing in for massive damage with Madcap Skills.

Sideboard

Whip of Erebos: Lifelink across the board. Useful against other aggresive matchups.

Blinding Flare: Could very well be a gamemaker late game.

Dreadbore: Removes pesky planeswalkers.

Coordinated Assault: Gives first strike to two creatures which is pretty useful, especially combined with Felhide Petrifier
