Thanks, friend! The concept came about from loving all those whenever you draw, target opponent mills x enchantments. Kwain did a lot of work in my Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis group hug deck and I figured white would be great with an enchantment focus. It's since drifted from an enchantress deck since it draws well enough already.

Try it out with the playtest button! It's surprisingly consistent even with the amount of removal it has. 1v1 games do not last long. I'd say it's similar to the playtesting of turn 7-9 kill, and somehow better in person. And right? The mad hatter rabbit is what drew me to it. Azorius can be a blast!

I've never seen that tried, but I will caution that I don't know that it would necessarily lead to quicker games. I could see everyone drawing 2-3 cards instead of 1 making games more event (because mana flood/screw would be less common), but from my experience with decks that make everyone at the table draw more cards (I have both a The Council of Four deck and a Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis deck) it often extends games because everyone gets to play all their stuff and there can end up being board stalls. More cards in hand also makes for more decisions for everyone to make, so more time in each turn for analysis. Personally I enjoy it when everyone at the table gets to do their thing, so I'm happy with those types of games, but that not everyone is.

Of course if you're playing in a higher powered meta with combo decks games will be quicker because somebody will combo off even quicker than before.

Honestly I think you should give it a shot and see how it goes for a few games. And let us know!

Tsukimi on (Feedback appreciated!) Tsukimi, Root's Mirror

First playtest was a lot of fun! Tricky to gage because one friend was playing a group hug Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis deck with oath of the druids out turn 2 and then two dockside extortionists came out and it got crazier from there. I also managed to get rhystic study out turn 3 and keep it out and it was a 6 player game (usually we are 4) so things got out of hand fast and Tsukimi won pretty handily. Notably smothering tithe gained me at least a clue a turn so I think they need a "first time each turn" clause on the clue production. It was like my ideal setup and should not have been possible if not for being able to make copies of dockside (not even with Tsukimi) with rhystic study out. It was in many ways a perfect game. Especially because another friend was playing a board wipe deck and I managed to draw Minn, Wily Illusionist and Bennie Bracks, Zoologist So by the time he wiped I had 10 10/10 illusions.

Other than needing to add the first time per turn clause I think it's fairly balanced as of now and a beacon for removal so we'll see how less crazy games play out.

You're welcome. Thantis is one of my favourite decks. And it's basically build to make games grindy.

One final idea: There's a way to build Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis as a giant tribal list. Ever considered that as a pretty terrifying BBEG? Those human rulers obsessed with ruling by the power of giants?

This has set quite a while. The deck I'll be going for is my giant tribal led by Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis. Which means we'll go giant tribal partner commanders!

Melitorm, Cloudgoat Breeder

Legendary Creature - Giant Shaman

Partner with Patprat, Stubborn Cloudgoat

Trample, Menace

Tap an untapped creature token you control: Target giant gains flying until end of turn. If that token is a goat, that giant also gains Hexproof until end of turn.

5/5

Create Patprat, Stubborn Cloudgoat, which obviously is a flying goat.

I'm hoping for more giant tribal in Eldraine 2, but they propably can't go as far as making a RGWU legendary giant to replace Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis with. More tribal synergy would be awesome, still.

DemonDragonJ on Minds Aglow or Faerie Mastermind?

Squidcod, the primary way that I win with my Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis deck is to encourage my opponents into attacking each other until only one remains, whom I then finish, but another way of winning is to mill them out with Folio of Fancies.

Squidcod, nhhale, I actually was asking for my Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis deck, since I have already decided that I definitely shall put the fairy in my Nekusar, the Mindrazer deck.
