Help with Allies
Commander Deck Help forum

So, with the release of General Tazri, I have wanted to re-imagine my Allies deck:
Allymorphosis
Commander / EDH
189 VIEWS
It had originally had Child of Alara as the commander, but why use that when I can basically have a Sliver Overlord for allies?
I am needing help picking the right allies for the deck and the right tribal synergies. I would also like to get as much bounce on the field as possible to take advantage of ally triggers.
And I am ok with infinite combos, I already have Conspiracy + Turntimber Ranger + Mana Echoes . Others would be great!
HELP!
please?
Looks like we are going different directions with Tazri. My deck is still a work in progress, but it is 22 "Ally" cards (20 allies, Progenitor Mimic, and Xenograft, 21 "Planeswalker" cards (19 PW's, Oath of Gideon, and The Chain Veil), 33 lands, 8 ramp cards, 7 card drawing cards, 4 Proliferate cards, and 4 removal cards. My only real bounce comes from Venser, the Sojourner.
So far my deck has overperformed for me, I need to play it more to see how much of my winning is just luck.

Tazri allies and super friends
I meant it when I said overperforming. I basically rely on sorcery speed planeswalker abilities for removal, and that should not (will not?) consistently do well.

Well, Artificial Evolution and Xenograft both also work with Turntimber Ranger.
There's a great primer for Tazri here: Link.
I'll summarize the main takeaways:
1) Try to limit yourself to allies that effect the board or generate card advantage. The ones that just buff themselves are pretty weak.
2) Run a lot of Blink engines, like Brago, King Eternal, to reuse your allies and get massive swarms of triggers.
3) Run everything that can can get you multiple allies from a single card, like Captain's Claws, to make your allies to cards spent ratio more efficient.
Have fun.
