Update 1: Rivals of Ixalan —Jan. 17, 2018

Thanks to some suggestions from stfl500, and suggestions from friends, I have revamped the deck and it's been running pretty smooth!.

ADDED:

4x Skymarcher Aspirant - Amazing 1 drop for 2/1, and city's blessing is easy to obtain with this deck, so a 2/1 in the beginning of the game, or 2/1 flier later is pretty valuable.

2x Champion of Dusk - A 5 drop 4/4 body with the ability to replenish your hand is amazing for vampire tribal. The only real downside is losing life, but there are cards and tokens to help keep your life stable.

1x Plains and 1x Swamp - Running 20 land would run the risk of not having enough mana to cast creatures on a consistent basis, which would be a big reason as to why games would be lost. By increasing lands from 20 to 22, it has been much more consistent with drawing lands, and casting my spells throughout the game.

REMOVED:

4x Duskborne Skymarcher - While this is a good 1 drop for 1/1 flying and the mana ability, it really never helped much outside of the early game. Skymarcher Aspirant brings with it more utility due to the ascend mechanic, so if winning early is tough, drawing a 2/1 with ascend is better as the game keeps going on.

3x Sword-Point Diplomacy - While good in paper, this card would usually end up being a dead draw for me, or it would delay answers in close match-ups. It also doesn't help when you're losing, as the opponent can easily manipulate what they want in your hand. Champion of Dusk is a much better answer to the card draw issue, along with Arguel's Blood Fast  Flip for card draw, and a good land late in the game to help stabilize.

1x Fatal Push - A great removal card, but with running 2x Vraska's Contempt, 4 is a bit much in the deck. This also helped with filling in the new cards to be added to make a much more consistent and powerful deck.

SIDEBOARD CHANGES:

ADDED:

2x Bishop of Binding - A creature not only to help further fuel the trial power, but it can remove problem creatures and can create either itself or another vampire into a scary beat stick.

REMOVED:

2x Cast Out - While a solid card, with Ixalan's Binding to help keep key parts of opponent's decks in control, and with Bishop of Binding counting as a creature with its creature removal, there wasn't a whole lot of room for this card. Still a very solid card.

With a curve that tops out at 5, you are going to need more then 20 lands to be able to play what you want consistently. Otherwise this looks good though I'd consider swapping Duskborne Skymarcher for Skymarcher Aspirant. I feel like as good as Vona can be Champion of Dusk is probably going to be better, and I don't like Sword-Point Diplomacy because it gives your opponent the choice on how to hurt themselves which rarely works out well; maybe Radiant Destiny for a buff with potential vigilance affect?
