Sawtooth Loon for Jace, Architect of Thought: This is very must a test case for the deck, Jace, AoT is a great card, it has similar filtering as the Loon but it also comes with utility for dealing with token and weeny strategies and if you can ultimate him (unlikely as it might be) you just get to steal something from everyone and yourself.
Sakashima the Impostor for MImic Vat: So recently I have been finding that Sakashima just isn't that great in the deck, I almost always mulligan him out of my hand. While there are loads of sweet targets in the deck for him, I have often wiped the board and then draw him and that is just awful. The Vat seems better, because it lets you clone a creature that died to the wipe keep abusing its ability and drawing cards with Ephara, God of the Polis.
Render Silent for Muddle the Mixture: As I have said before, Render Silent is usually just Cancel which I would never play in an EDH deck, and while Muddle will sometimes miss since it only hits instant and sorcery's, it is also a tutor that is super great since it can fetch a bit of ramp/ fixing in Sap hire Medallion or Azorius Signet or in the late game you can fetch a wrath effect in Cyclonic Rift or Martial Coup.
Knight of the White Orchid for Geist of Saint Traft: This is another card that I am not happy to see in my opening hand, I almost always want to be on double blue on turn two, this card goes in the exact opposite direction of that plan and so it is just getting the axe.Traft seems pretty good in the current build of the deck, what with Hero of Bladehold doing something in the same vain, both will almost always draw you card when you attack with it, which is sometimes just fine even if Geist will just die.
Over all I am happy with these changes, the removal of the Knight of the White Orchid is permanent, the card is actively bad in the deck. The other changes may or may no be correct but I am looking forward to testing them tomorrow before FNM.
