4C List —Feb. 23, 2019
I found that with the 5C I am often manna screwed or lack a specific color where it is most needed. It has cost me some games and is a very frustrating experience. Because of this, I have decided to cut black from the color scheme. Following this was a pretty extensive removal and addition of cards, as well as a refocus of deck goals (I added in Emrakul, the Promised End + Nahiri, the Harbinger combo). Here are the changes:
LANDS: - 1x Swamp - 1x Gavony Township + 1x Evolving Wilds + 1x Island
POSTS: - 3x Veinfire Borderpost - 3x Mistvein Borderpost + 1 Fieldmist Borderpost + 1 Wildfield Borderpost
OTHER SPELLS: - 2x March of the Machines - 2x To the Slaughter - 1x Demonic Dread + 3x Nahiri, the Harbinger + 2x Gideon of the Trials + 1x Bow of Nylea + 1x Monastery Siege
That's all for now. I plan on taking this deck to my LGS next month for a modern tourney, and I'll update with results when I go.
