Maybeboard

I wanted to build the best possible deck to make the Horn of Gondor competitive. It's a creature-heavy deck and every creature is a human- the plan is to start multiplying human tokens as exponentially as possible to overwhelm the opponent.

The core engine are four copies of the horn and 8 human manadorks- 4x Avacyn's Pilgrim and 4x Noble Hierarch. These allow us to drop the Horn of Gondor on turn 2 and tap for tokens starting one turn 3.

At the low end of the curve, we have plenty of 1 and 2 drop humans. Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, and Esper Sentinel are cheap humans that tax the opponent. They punish the use of non-creature spells (such as boardwipes) and slow down the opponent while we ramp up. Coppercoat Vanguard also slows down the enemy by giving humans ward, while giving our wide boards a huge +1 attack buff.

We also run 7 cards that go tall- 4 copies of Champion of the Parish and 3 copies of Thalia's Lieutenant. They will get huge, fast, as we flood the board with humans.

The remaining creatures are higher mana cost. Adeline gets huge fast and is an endless source of human triggers. Kyler is expensive but is the big finisher, potentially smashing the opponent with a 100 100/100 creatures on turn 5 or 6. Knight-Errant of Eos keeps our foot on the gas pedal, making sure we never stall out. Using the tokens to get out a free 4/4 human while also digging six cards deep is excellent. Brutal Cathar is our removal for game-ending threats, and will often be our search target for the Knight-Errant. Intrepid Adversary is another way to use our huge mana-base as a finishing move, while also giving us the life-gain we need to race burn.

The lands are basic- we keep disproportionate green sources so we never miss a turn 1 Pilgrim or Hierarch drop. Cavern of Souls is effective, as we will only ever play humans. Castle Ardenvale will help convert excess mana into more human triggers.
