Don't forget about Pacifism effects, which run double duty. Also, Indrik Umbra smashes so much face that it might be worth taking a look at.

I sideboard Prison Term which is way better than Pacifism. Indrik Umbra cost way too much for too little. Ancestral Mask easily adds +10, and my creature is usually already unblockable/trample.

I should reiterate. By the time I can play something for 6 mana- I've already won the game. Indrik Umbra is expensive and won't add much. when I can do significantly more damage quicker. I don't think people see how quick and ruthless this deck is.

Even without Kor/Argo, Gnarlid and a handful of auras is a beautiful hand.Gnarlid on the field with a mere 3 auras in play (not even on him). Drop a Mask, he's 12/12 Unblockable. (terribly easy/often on turn 3). Say he's got a Rancor and a Ward and 3 land auras out...add a Mask- he's 20/20. (Easy turn 4-5)2 Kor/Argos on the field means I can often go through half my deck in 3 turns, just drawing and dropping cheap loop-able auras- which make up 20/60 of my deck.I originally ran Pacifism, but creatures either already can't be blocked- or oponents will have to sacrifice their creatures to the trample just to survive anyway.Only cards I'd consider swapping are Skinshifter and Umbra Mystic, but it'd have to be for something cheap and aura-friendly creatures. Loam Lion is a big maybe.

Prison Term was actually the card I had in mind when I said "pacifism effects". I didn't look at the board too closely and missed that.

Yeah yeah Indrik isn't that good, I was just expecting a derivative of the PC2012 aura deck when I saw it.

By the way, this deck is really awesome! +1

Replace Utopia Sprawl For Abundant Growth . Utopia can only generate one color. Abundant Growth can generate any color and let's you draw a card.

As far as I understand it, Utopia Sprawl lets you tap one land for two mana, while Abundant Growth limits you to one mana of any color. They both have their place, I suppose. But I would argue this deck prefers Utopia Sprawl.

Thats actually not a bad idea. I think Utopia doubles a land's value > Abundant's draw a card. That 1 mana difference...is a big difference, when 1/3 my deck is 1 drops. If I did say, add 4 and balanced it with 4 One with Nature, it'd be pretty fun to see how fast I can burn through the deck

Prismatic Omen ? Allows you to play all the colors.

Other colors lack as good aura-synergy, and my deck is based off speed. That would just slow me down, while not offering much.

Wheres the Daybreak Coronet ?

cyphus says... #14

why would I need first strike when I have protection/unblockable and/or trample + higher power + toughness? Why would I need vigilance and lifelink when my decks purpose is to beat them to the punch? (not defend)The resources used for Daybreak, could instead be used for something actually gets me the W. The double plains + pre-aura requirements can be annoying- while It just doesn't offer any benefit over any other card I already have. Its a cool card, but a little overrated and greatly counter-intuitive to this decks design. How do I delete comments?...seriously.

I suggest you Abundant Growth ... Very nice deck :)

It's very cool, has a bunch of nice draw combos. How about Abundant Growth for extra draw and more mana for Flickering Ward ?

i would cut cards like Skinshifter and Endless Wurm for lands. also maybe put more dual lands in, like supetal grove. also love the price, its cheap to make

cyphus says... #22

I wouldn't go below 18 creatures. Its risky, especially since 4 of my creatures can't aura/attack (Enchantress). Endless Wurm is actually good retaliation, if my other creatures get wiped, and Skinshifter can buy me turns for the low creature count.

card:Green Sun's Zenith + Dryad Arbor is quite good in this deck. If you can find the space for it I'd highly suggest you do so, as being able to pull out your Dryad Arbor , Argothian Enchantress , Aura Gnarlid , etc. from your library at just about any time for 1 more mana is sweet and efficient. In the case of Dryad Arbor , you can grab that as a turn 1 mana-boost, essentially having you run with card:Green Sun's Zenith, 8 turn 1 accelerators.

isn't green sun banned?

Only in Modern, which this deck most definitely is not.
