So goal is simple, use incredible cost efficient creatures that have the drawback of placing -1/-1 counters on your own stuff like Baleful Ammit and Plague Belcher.

Aaaaand here's the fun part, you don't place the counters on themselves, yes even in the case of Exemplar of Strength you place them on creatures that benefit you when they die such as Blisterpod and Festering Mummy which by the way lets you then place counters onto your opponent's stuff to kill their shit.

Also there's Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and the one I prefer Nest of Scarabs that reward you for creating the counters in the first place, and the obvious Cartouche of Ambition and Trial of Ambition synergy.

Did I mention this deck is SUUUUUUUPER cheap? most of the price comes from the Plague Belcher and the basic lands which if we're being honest, you either already have or are probably going to get for free off of someone who has too many they can't get rid of.
