Some changes again —Jan. 8, 2016

I've decided that im removing Day of Judgment from the main board. When this deck didnt have the early game creatures like Weathered Wayfarer and Knight of the White Orchid, Day of Judgment was essential vs early game creature aggro decks. But now that I have the early game creatures and things like Archangel of Tithes Its more of a liability rather than a card I can actually use. Instead of holding it because i dont wanna blow up my own creatures I can use a better card in the deck. I've decided to add another Celestial Mantle I really like the card, I only need 3 Plains and an Extraplanar Lens to use it and makes my angels very strong, and it ofcourse doubles my life total if it hits an opponent, which is easy with Rogue's Passage. Other changes are the removal of 1 Angel of Serenity for 1 Admonition Angel because Quarantine Field is probably better than Angel of Serenity anyways and Admonition Angel costs 6 mana which is way better with Extraplanar Lens. Any thoughts on these changes? EDIT: took another Angel of Serenity out for one extra Quarantine Field.

Try Snow-Covered Plains with Extraplanar Lens instead of just basic Plains; they'll look nicer with your Angels, and more applicably, most other opponents will not be able to ramp along with you. If you face another white deck, they may be savvy enough to take advantage of the fact that Extraplanar Lens does not care which controller is tapping a Plains for mana...

Yeah thats true but Snow-Covered Plains isnt legal in modern is it? I play this deck mostly casual but I do often go to small tournaments for modern.

BTW, Snow-Covered Plains is in fact legal in Modern. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise; call a judge if you have to. Coldsnap is set within an older block that is technically legal in Modern; just like Martyr of Sands is legal for a Soul Sisters deck, you can use the Snow-Covered basics if you please.

Oh wow, i actually went and checked it on the mtg official site and its true! thank you so much, i was convinced that it wasnt legal! In that case Snow-Covered Plains is indeed way better than normal Plains with Extraplanar Lens
