So fuck that, not letting a few shitty OP cards ruin my stride. It's hard to "play around them", per-se, but if anything I am looking to make this list stronger.
Doing away with the indestructible giant strat since bounce spells are too common in cEDH, a reality I was aware of from the start but really didn't want to believe.
Anyways, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion is my new Divergent Transformations pair. Other polymorph effects have been replaced with additional stax & utility. Scroll Rack is in to try and help with topdeck stuff, and card selection that isn't draw, because fuck Hullbreacher's unbalanced ass. Experimentally adding Thran Foundry to try and cope with both the pair's inability to be useful from the hand/grave as well as deal with the rampant Ad Nauseam meta where I play. Also trying out Void as a big-mana payoff. Hits boards, hands, the kitchen sink... Really interesting piece.
Tangle Wire and Orb of Dreams are in. The wire is great since this deck can pump out little dudes to tap, and Orb of Dreams doesn't hit any of the list's combos at all. It also... fucks over treasures! Fuck outta here, 4c enablers Hullbreacher and Dockside Extortionist.
Secondary win-con still exists in the form of Smokestack & Devastation. A bit trickier to get off with Doomsday, but not entirely impossible. Life total is usually the issue for that one, but with enough cards in hand, Devastating Dreams can save 5 life if casting the line through Bolas's Citadel.
Plenty of other small changes that I don't want to go over. Need to get back to playtesting before ordering proxies.
