FNM Ready? —Dec. 14, 2015

I am looking to take this deck to this FNM. It us fun as can be to play but may need some changes. So I am looking for some advice starting with this build. Any help would be appreciated.

Giant eldrazis + Aligned Hedron Network = shot in the foot. Replace for Languish to deal with smaller threats instead of big ones.

I can't help but kind of stutter at the three Grip of Desolation

Well I am looking on how to change the deck around. I am looking to add 4x Endless One but am unsure what to take out or if it is even a good idea.

If I were to take out the 3x Grip of Desolation what do I replace it with. I would like to keep them in also because I feel with the Hedron Archive it shouldn't be that hard to cast.

I just feel like for it's CMC it isn't worth it. There are simply better cards you can play.

It'd be a nice GOT YA! card but I just feel like it won't be that useful in a competitive scene. You want something cheaper and more consistently useful.

If you really want to use it you should be only running one. Imagine pulling two or three in your starting hand. There could be other cards there.

That's why you need to carefully distribute your mana curve. If you're going to run high drops in threes and fours of you have to be absolutely sure you're going to hit your mana base and when you aren't running any green and your only true ramp is Hedron Archive it just isn't reliable.

I don't have the time to look for solid replacement tech at the moment but I'll hop back later.

You're right, HaUnTeDeMoN, our decks are similar. My concern with this deck is that if you miss a land drop you won't be able to recover. A boardwipe (Planar Outburst?) could help deal with the threats that your opponent accumulates while you are waiting for your 6th land. Maybe add card draw as well (Read the Bones is an option). There is probably too much removal for creatures with 3 or less power/mana, and you could switch Complete Disregard out for better options. Feel free to look at my deck Exile, Exile, Exile, ULAMOG (Suggestions Welcome) for other options.

Add Wasteland Strangler. Seeing the amount of exile removal you run, he will almost always 2 for 1

I own two would like to put them in, but what to drop to make room? Maybe 1 Desolation Twin but what else?

After testing I have found that I haven't needed Wasteland Strangler. Most of the opponents creatures get exiled before they can do anything so it has been a dead card.

I am thinking of adding some processors to the deck, I just need to find ones that will be helpful.

Blight Herder would be a nice addition to this deck; as long as you can get the removal in play.

I was thinking this as well. The removal is not a problem. I will try that for sure. Probably drop the two Desolation Twins for 2 Blight Herder since I own two already.

Thanks for the suggestion
