The purpose of the deck is to stall the early game with bounce spells, kill spells, and counterspells. You dig for card with Pieces of the Puzzle, and maybe beat down with Aberrant Researcher. Then, once you have 6 lands, you cast Rise from the Tides, so get an average of about 7 2/2 Zombie tokens, who are hopefully enough to win the game with.
