Lifegain & counter shenanigans. Archangel of Thune triggers instantly if I have Seraph Sanctuary out already. Lots of control to slow up the opponent until the Angel slaughter can start.

I like the deck very much how it is right now. Strict angels theme. I'm thinking of Linvala, Keeper of Silence as a two-of because she's too good.

I posted the deck from memory so I'm not certain if I run 2 more plains and 2 fewer Cathedral Sanctifiers off the top of my head, 22 lands seems slim to me, so I'll have to double check the deck and edit later.
