I have taken out most of the discard benefits, while increasing discard power. I am also experimenting by adding more removal and draw power at the expense of some shrieking afflictions. More likely than not this is a bad idea, but hey lets give it a spin!

What do you think of replacing Nezumi Cutthroat with Pack Rat?

Nezumi Cutthroat is there for direct attacking; so use of ninjustu (tends to be a mana or so cheaper than summon) ability of my rat ninjas is possible.

You might want to droop the Doom Blade and put in Go for the Throat their much more versatile unless matched up against affinity. For sideboarding i like Dismember and Hero's Downfall

Have you considered maybe replacing Mind Rot with Wrench Mind it's a cheaper cost and budget friendly.

What about Tormented Soul for the direct attack? It cost 1 less mana, but it has 1 less power?

Stronghold Rats would go well with Mental Vapors (especially in multiplayer games). With that much discard a turn, taking a Shrieking Affliction or The Rack would be worth it. Especially if you are discarding some Rotting Rats as a result of your Stronghold Rats

Try Shrieking Affliction. It works as The Rack #5-8.

If you like discard. How about Altar's Reap + Cry of Contrition + Drainpipe Vermin ? I run it in my rat deck and is quite useful for card advantage.

Looks Pretty cool, try putting in Mental Vapors, if you are going for some unblockables.
