Sideboard

Dimir Rogues Mill deck featuring Zareth San, the Trickster and Ruin Crab.

With the Omnath and Uro ban Rogues have definitely gotten better. I have waited a bit for the meta to settle before making this, so here it is now

Deck Strategy:

You are looking to get to the magical 8 cards in graveyard early by using your cheap one drops like Ruin Crab or Merfolk Windrobber. Once you get there, beat down your opponent with buffed rogues like Thieves' Guild Enforcer and Nighthawk Scavenger. Finally, bop them with Zareth San, the Trickster and steal their biggest threat.

Sideboard Guide:

2x Vantress Gargoyle Bring this card in against aggro matchups. Turn 2 Vantress Gargoyle will be hard for them to deal with.

2x Erebos's Intervention Also very good against aggro because you can kill their key creatures easily and gain some life at the same time. Also good against any deck with escape cards or graveyard interaction, because you can get rid of their threats without messing up your own synergies with their graveyard.

2x Deny the Divine Another great graveyard hate card, because you can counter an escape spell and exile it instead of sending it to the graveyard. Also good if you feel like you just want more counter spells.

1x Lullmage's Domination Bring this in against any creature heavy deck. You can steal virtually anything, especially later in the game when you have more mana.

2x Heartless Act This is one of the best removal spells in standard right now. Board it in against any creature deck that doesn't utilize counters much.

2x Mystical Dispute This is a very good card to bring in against other blue decks, especially against another rogues deck, because this will basically be a 1 mana counter spell that can counter their Drown in the Loch, or their important creatures like Soaring Thought-Thief and Zareth San, the Trickster. You can also run Anticognition, but it is personal preference.

2x Extinction Event I like to board this in against Rogues because their big threats like Zareth San, the Trickster, Nighthawk Scavenger, Thieves' Guild Enforcer, and Ruin Crab are all odd CMC, so this can be a relatively cheap board wipe that hits all of those cards at once, as well as any even CMC cards as well. It also exiles them.

2x Epic Downfall This is your flex slot in the sideboard. Play whatever you feel the sideboard needs. I currently play Epic Downfall to deal with the big bois, but it is completely up to you.

Well, that's my take on the UB Rogue archetype. Feel free to leave any suggestions, and remember, I will probably change some things around in the future, so this is not set in stone
