I would not be against another Stab Wound . None of the other cards, save for Trostani's Judgment, are really jumping out at me, and that one's a little too niche to get picked just yet.
There is also a strong case for Lyev Skyknight . Three power in the air, with a bonus Detain trigger, is quite powerful, and does work in Limited.

I was considering Lyev Skyknight quite a bit, but when I saw another Stab Wound there, It was pretty much decided. I'm wondering what common the person before us took. Lyev Skyknight is a very decent card. I see Centaur Healer , Annihilating Fire , Auger Spree , Avenging Arrow and Cancel as possibilities (unless you're including foils in your packs).

Rakdos Shred-Freak is fairly good, but my vote goes for another Stab Wound . Dammed annoying card!

I say Lyev Skyknight , could be the beginnings of an awesome Esper build, but we have yet to pick a color. Otherwise Stab Wound is the way to go.

Stab Wound . Unlike Lyev Skyknight , Stab Wound is on color with Stab Wound . . .We should they to refrain from committing to our colors as long as possible.

Stab Wound seriously. we can build a deck of nothing but stab wounds we would be all set. we should try to push for orzhov if we can. extort with stab wounds is brutal. found that out the hard way this weekend

Lyev Skyknight and Rakdos Shred-Freak are the only others I would consider.
Good question, Absinthman. I'll say it was probably Auger Spree .

- Stab Wound can't go wrong with more removal.
- Rakdos Shred-Freak , works with our black pick and early pressure.
- Dispel , great control but pushes us to Dimir with U/B.

Well, hell, if there's going to be another Stab Wound , you may as well take it.

Stab Wound x 2.
My secondary vote would be for the Azorius Arrester or Tower Drake .

Yup 2x Stab Wound sounds good to me.
Pretty mediocre packs so far, but can't complain too much about 2 stab wounds.

A deck with 15 Stab Wound wins the format. Someone in my draft once pulled an insane 9 stab wound (abundance of packs with no one going black for some reason) and he swept the draft by sitting there with his trestle trolls.

I thought in draft DGM is first, then GTC then RTR?
Anyway. Second Stab Wound . Huge signal that black is potentially open directly next to us.

Stab Wound . Y'all are underestimating the Stealer of Secrets, though - she's almost certainly the second or third best card in this pack (Judgment makes a case for itself, since it's removal). Skyknight is good but has a flimsy butt, which is a problem; Dispel we can get later, it's mostly a sideboard card; and Arrester is fine but I'd take Skyknight over him.
@thebeardedshuffler - official format is this way, but they're doing it in reverse intentionally.

@thebeardedshuffler - Herp derp, I meant official format is that way, with DGM first.

Ahh I see. Well, my second pick would probably be Pursuit of Flight . I've found that enchantments can be very relevant in RTR limited, through all the sets. The ability to give flying as well makes this pretty potent. It's not work taking over the stabwound but it is definitely a card worth considering. Stealer is third, because it's a creature that does stuff, but with DGM in the mix, bears aren't going to cut it the way they used to. I think we need utility from RTR/GTC more than we need bodies.

Lyev Skyknight is without a doubt the most powerful card in the pack. Stab Wound is cool and can win games, but we don't need more than one, and we're committing to black if we take it - and committing this early might be bad.

committing to a single color, even this early, isn't a bad thing. There are a ton of good directions taking black can take us. We definitely want to get the best removal in the set. Splashing black just for 2 copies of that wouldn't be a bad idea.

I'm the weird one here who is going to say Havoc Festival If we use that to help sculpt our deck it can be a devastating choice and paired with Stab Wound can render someone defenseless and helpless. Keep in mind that while it is great to have 2 Stab Wound s It is also important to have fun, and stray off the beaten path. To me not only is Havoc Festival A more fun choice it can also provide that edge of surprising your opponent.

There is one more problem with passing Stab Wound to the next player. He or she could take it as a signal that black is open from the right, and we certainly don't want to signal this. We actually want to drain the packs out of black (I wouldn't mind having it as our main color) which we accomplish by taking Stab. There is Rakdos Shred-Freak , yes, but that can't be taken as a heavy "black is open" signal anyway.

@OutspokenFerret: Havoc Festival would indeed surprise our opponents, but Stab Wound is awesome when you are both ahead and behind, whereas the Festial is only good if you are ahead.

thebeardedshuffler says... #42
Havoc Festival will table more likely than Stab Wound , too. If it comes back, just having it and two stabs will give us a much more likely chance of winning after casting it.
Remember, stab wound is either removal or a win condition. Few cards are that versatile.

Another Stab Wound - Yeeehaaaa!!! There's never enough of those!
