Sanguine Bond+ Exquisite Blood Infinite combo?

If you had Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood both on the field at the same time, would you automatically win as soon as you dealt damage to an opponent?

Yes. After either you gaining life or one of your opponents losing life for any reason, that event would trigger one of the enchantments. When that triggered ability resolves, it will end up triggering the other enchantment, and will continue to loop in that way until all your opponents are dead or someone is able to interrupt it somehow (which would be possible, but very difficult).

In most cases, you win at instant speed:
Damage causes them to lose life, triggering Exquisite Blood .
Exquisite Blood causes you to gain life, triggering Sanguine Bond .
Sanguine Bond causes an opponent to lose life, triggering Exquisite Blood .
Remember: in between these triggers an opponent can Disenchant or Boomerang the other enchantment, stopping the process (not really that difficult, unless they're mono-red). Also, Platinum Emperion stops the combo from going off in the first place, True Believer and similar make Sanguine Bond fizzle, and Platinum Angel forces a draw (non-optional infinite loop). So it's not foolproof, but it's pretty good (though rather easy to see coming...)

It's because of Platinum Angel that I'll sometimes run Mindcrank + Bloodchief Ascension lol.

My friend runs this in one of his decks. Toss in Tormented Soul for the win.

Does this not kind of have the same core as Guilty Conscience +Stuffy Doll ? I was told, since the combo never stopped, the game/round would go to time. Just like this, they never stop losing life, and you never stop gaining. So wouldn't it technically go to time?

Player death for 0 or less life is a state based action, and state based actions are checked right before each time a player would get priority. The Guilty Conscience /Stuffy Doll combo doesn't create a loop that forces a draw, because eventually the player the Doll is pointed at will die. Same thing with this combo.

@Rhadamanthus: You're wrong, and you're missing the point entirely.
We're talking about what happens when Platinum Angel is in play. This is when the draw happens. At other times, yes, someone drops to 0 life and loses.
However, Platinum Angel doesn't care if I have zero life. I still don't lose. I have -1,000,000,000 life? YIPPEE!! Still in the game. Both of these combos rely on the player losing: they don't have another exit strategy. Since this is an infinite loop of mandatory actions, rule 104.4b triggers and the game is a draw.
104.4b If a game thats not using the limited range of influence option (including a two-player game) somehow enters a loop of mandatory actions, repeating a sequence of events with no way to stop, the game is a draw. Loops that contain an optional action dont result in a draw.

Thank you, I understand how Platinum Angel works, I just didn't read the thread completely.

You would win as soon as ANY damage or loss of life is deal to an opponent. Therefore, if you do have both on the field, you'd better have a Gut Shot primed.
