Interesting idea. I would suggest finding ways to give opponents creatures like with Goblin Spymaster or Akroan Horse the hunted cycle could work(Hunted Dragon,Hunted Troll) maybe not Hunted Horror that could backfire. Also Skullclamp would be great for card draw.

Forgot to mention; for token generation consider Dragonlair Spider, Ant Queen, or Terastodon for another creature generator for both sides.

Baron_Pretzels thanks for the suggestions! I feel like while those cards do provide the creatures for the egg counters, they aren't really ideal, especially since most decks will play creatures anyway. Plus they're a little overcosted (the second set of suggestions anyway.)

That Skullclamp idea is pretty solid though, don't know what I'd cut for it, but I may look into it and see if it makes a difference in plays.

Also, if you are hurting for egg targets you do not have to gift tokens to opponents. You can always go with the flexibility of giving yourself the tokens & just "stinging" your own critters, then popping your own tokens as needed for the card & replacement insect. I've had some good success with alternative token generators & then aggressive Timmie creatures in the 99 then I start to kill spell out my own insects & "polymorph" out the insect bodies for the big stuff

Gleeock that's exactly right and it's what I do when the opponent doesn't have a weak creature I can shoot down for cheap. Most of the time once I have Doubling Season (or even it I don't) + Yawgmoth, Thran Physician + Nest of Scarabs I just place the -1/-1 counters on my own creatures and draw until I find an out.

I also always make sure to sting my own guys just so I will have some board presence after the inevitable wrath. XD
