A lot of changes have been made. If you have already checked this deck check it again! I'm trying to get more consistency. Thankyou for the continued input.
If I'm using Boom/Bust bust then I find its hard to keep enough red for Deus of Calamity I think I need Lightning Bolt 's for finishing off the opponent. Howling Mine seems very useful though.

I would add in the 4 Tectonic Rifts, more land destruction = better imo. Otherwise, nice deck :)
I also actually made a land destruction deck a while ago. Only thing is that it's Black/Green xD
You should check it out though, you might get inspired or something: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/land-eradication-1/

Well for starters, you could drop all the Slagstorm s and one Sowing Salt to get thte sideboard to 15 cards. At least then it's legal in something.

Too slow. And getting 7 mana is hard when I'm using boom bust

I recommend switching out one Flame Slash for another Lightning Bolt

For lands I'd suggest replacing Darksteel Citadel with Ghost Quarter . I have a LD deck as well and in my experience Ghost Quarter is more devastating to them. Especially if they're running nonbasic lands for you to hit. (Just to clarify you target Ghost Quarter with Boom/Bust and then on the stack sac it to destroy one of their lands that they did not tap).

In land destroy decks there is always one problem: what to do, when you run out of land-des spells in your hand, and your opponent is starting really doing something. There are two ways to prevent it from happening: 1 have something that can destroy land every turn, like your removed Deus of Calamity , or have something to draw cards, like simple Howling Mine /Font of Mythos - you should get land-des spell every turn, and your opponent won't play more than one land per turn anyway. What to remove: if you go with deus, you could remove some creatures like. You could also reduce number of lightning bolts- flame slash ussualy does it's job, and if not, you can sideboard some massive damage-dealing spells like Chain Reaction against some cheap-creature aggro.
