Standard Azusa's Citadel

Standard BG (Golgari)

Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove allow extra lands to be played for turn. Bolas's Citadel allows playing cards off the top of the library. The idea is to ramp up into Bolas's Citadel using Azusa and Dryad, then use Citadel to vomit my entire deck onto the board.

Doing so will put Banehound and Gingerbrute on the board as 1-drops with haste that can also gain life. They can be played in the early game to get a couple points of damage in, and can be used as blockers and/or to gain life. The life gain is important because I need a lot of life to combo off with Citadel. Citadel will also help me find my End-Raze Forerunners, which serves as the primary win condition for the deck. It comes down onto a board with Azusa, Dryads, and some number of Banehound, Healer of the Glade and Gingerbrute to pull lethal damage out of nowhere.

Healer of the Glade and Life Goes On are pieces I can hit off Citadel (or without Citadel) that gain me life and allow me to keep going. Bond of Flourishing gains life too and also helps find Azusa, Dryad or Citadel if I'm missing them.

The choice to run gain lands is also to help gain life off the top from Citadel. Temples mean top of library manipulation. I'm considering cutting the shocks, but sometimes I need help finding Dryad to fix my mana so I'd prefer having the extra black sources.
