lifelink prototype - assistance needed

Standard* Lifegain WB (Orzhov)

irreversible1993

Help needed!I'm trying to make a lifelink deck, and I'm fairly new to MTG. This is only my second attempted deck so far.

So the idea here is there are (hopefully) enough 1-mana white creatures to keep defenses up until things like tesya, obzedat, and the other high-mana heavy hitters come out. Focused on getting as much life as possible through lifelink, with some flying to make sure that happens

After play-testing it against a good R/B burn deck, I've noticed a few things:

-This deck does seem to be slow. A lot of high-mana cards. Need to survive 4-5 turns until it becomes powerful.-cards don't seem to combo very much. All the cards are fairly independent of each other, besides Rhox, which makes every lifelink card amazing. -This deck requires an ideal hand and deck placement to win. It doesn't bode well against the chance of the draw and opponent strategies.

What do you think works, and what doesn't? My main problem is finding out what cards work best and which should be gone, and then knowing what to replace them with (since I don't know most of the MTG cards)

**OH, and the MOST important thing:I want to keep this deck as BUDGET-FRIENDLY as possible! Nothing over like 60 bucks would be ideal if possible? **
