Had a good week this week, going undefeated!

Round One: Boros Aggro

Her deck was still in the works and didn't have very many one-drops. A lot of her creatures were two converted mana cost. She fell behind on turn one with no creatures vs. my Gravecrawler or Diregraf Ghoul, then would get beat down by Ulvenwald Tracker and Knight of Infamy. Game one didn't help that she got mana screwed on two lands. I swept 2-0.

Round Two: Selesnya Humans

I was happy to not see any mountains come down on his side of the table. There's nothing like turn one Champion of the Parish into turn two Burning-Tree Emissary and Knight of Glory. We had some close games, but Ulvenwald Tracker and Knight of Infamy were the MVPs tonight and kept the board clear. I ended up having multiple Knight of Infamys out on the table both games. Game one saw Sorin, Lord of Innistrad using his ultimate on Ajani, Caller of the Pride and the tokens made with Gather the Townsfolk. He wasn't able to get through with Rancor due to excessive chump blocking on my part. I won this round 2-0.

Round Three: B/R Vampires

Tonight was Return to Ravnica Tribal Wars, apparently. Game one, he couldn't kill my Lotleth Troll as I was able to either pump the troll or had mana open to regenerate. After a couple of swings with a 4/3 Lotleth Troll, he was toast. Game two was closer. He hit my turn one Gravecrawler with Pillar of Flame and matched my turn two Lotleth Troll with a Vampire Nighthawk. Unable to discard more creatures without losing too much momentum, I had to start gutting graveyards with Deathrite Shaman. With some combat tricks involving Geralf's Messenger, I was able to push through for those last couple points of damage and swept another round.
