V0.3.0 - A decision. We go sentinel —April 8, 2022
The decision has been made. I think it makes sense to be 4 in on the one drop and I've bumped up to 4 Esper Sentinel and moved the 2 Giver of Runes to the sideboard for creature heavy matchups.
After playing some MTGO league, I'm not sure when I would side in Boom / Bust, so I removed them from the sideboard. That has some implications. Boom being gone means I have removed the 2 Flagstones of Trokair for basic plains. That also means, at 5 plains, I can run Magus of the Moon in the main.
I needed another land slot after really running slim, so I added another Emeria's Call Flip. This will hopefully not be too bad with the 3 life occasionally needed, but it makes the card another March of Otherworldly Light target. To make this space I moved Embercleave to the Sideboard. I still like it but I didn't have so much time to use it while trying to keep Kaldra Compleat's germ alive. Embercleave was a far away thought. Now it can be sided in against decks with less removal.
In sideboard changes, out comes Eidolon of Obstruction since it's effect seems a bit minimal, and the 4th Thalia, Guardian of Thraben since it being legendary plus being able to fetch it with recruiter seems like 3 is enough.
I added 2 Phyrexian Revoker specifically for yawgmoth decks, but they're also useful generally and 2 Remorseful Cleric for fetchable graveyard hate.
