Sideboard

Creature (4)

Instant (8)

Maybeboard

Note: due to some cards rising in price and because I put in a sideboard the cost has slightly increased, however the sideboard is (of course) optional. Feel free to alter the deck so it fits your needs, moneywise and playwise. :)

HOW THIS DECK WORKS:

1) Put out Inspired creatures

2) target/enchant those creatures with stuff that makes them tap

3) play untap stuff, trigger Inspired effects, tap the creature again

4) rinse and repeat to put half of your deck on the battlefield in no time

5) swing for victory

It's extremely easy, it's extremly fun, it's extremely affordable.

And it competes with alot of standard decks out there.Propably the best choice for people with low budget who want to have fun at FMN without getting beaten to mulch by tier1-decks.

Untap cards:

Kiora's Follower

The key card of this deck. Blubb! (or whatever sound Merfolks make)

Refocus

Untap + draw for 2 mana at instant speed is good.

Triton Tactics

The best untap-card in standard.

Bounding Krasis

Tap or untap stuff printed on a creature with flash. In blue-green. Had to go into this deck. Bounce it, cast it again, bounce it, cast it again... it enhances the inspried-untapping combos. And it's a fricking 3/3 with flash for 3 mana.

Combo-enablers:

Karametra's Favor + Inspired creature

Tap Inspired creatures for mana so you can untap them and trigger the effect. Lots of mana guaranteed.

Oracle's Insight + Inspired creature

Free scry 1 + draw, which is pretty strong, as you can scry down the card before drawing. (funfact: most cheap spells doing that in this order are banned in modern)

Retraction Helix + Insipred creature

Bounce nonlands for 1 mana. The effect goes to the creature, so if you untap the creature, you can use the tap-for-bounce thing again (also see: jeskai-ascendacy-infinite-combo) all your turn long. This basicly clears your opponends field from everything without hexproof. Especially nice to get rid of tokens.

Inspired-Creatures:

Arbiter of the Ideal

This is your game maker. You'll basicly put all your deck on the battlefield from the top of your library, allowing you to ramp up lands and get free creatures. This is really wololo!

Sphinx's Disciple

draws you a card upon untapping. This makes sure you'll always have hand cards and get the cards you need for the untap-combos.

Combo-overkill:

Prophet of Kruphix

If you have one of these out, you'll do all the nice tappy-untappy-thingy in your opponents turn again. Most opponents will just give up and get something to eat before they get bored to death by all the combos triggering of in their own turn. And for the hardliners, they will learn it the hard way. This accelerates your deck enormously, as you'll draw lots of cards, cast all creatures and instants from your hand, put some stuff into play from your library and just go like, some free extra landdrops here, some free creatures there, here some more counters, there some more ass-kicking bounces.

Sideboard:

Pheres-Band Tromper

This dude just sits there and waits to get some counters. A 3/3 centaur can be a 13/13 centaur in no time. Roarrrrr! (or whatever sound centaurs make)

And wololo, you win the game with a deck that merely costs 10 bucks exluding basic lands, but seriously, you'll have those in masses anyways.
