First Game: Abzan Midrange

Win 2-0.

My speed was much quicker, any threats were locked down with Banishing light. Bow of Nylea ruined his deck. Second round, I sided Sagu Mauler into the deck which made his day even worse. It was quick and easy.

Second Match: RabbleRed Aggro splashing black.

Loss 2-1

Aggro is one of the most trickiest decks for this one to handle if it he gets a great starting hand. First Round: he was able to burn out most of my ramp early. Despised out the rest. killed me off slowly with Rabblemaster. Second Round: I had perfect ramp with the bow of Nylea, was able to keep enough pressure and kill his pieces off with this. Got Prophet of Kruphix out early and had Genesis Hydra in hand which tutored out Elspeth, he scooped. Third round: sided Sagu Mauler, Nylea Disciple. He had 3 War-Name Aspirant in hand and just used spot removal to keep me creatureless. Had Bow of Nylea and was barely staying alive with the 3 health. Pulled 70% land and which led to loss.

Third Match: Junk Control

Loss 0-2

Traded life a lot, very slow match. I was able to get him down quite low but he was able to pull Garruk and eat my large creatures. Keep in mind Junk control is mainly built to go against my type of deck. Once the deathtouch 3/3 were out, I was at a loss. Second round: Sided Negate; Clever Impersonator; Sagu Mauler. This match went a long time again. I was able to get a Sagu Mauler and cloned him with Clever Impersonator But it was a bit late and he did an ultimate on Kiora Crashing Wave. End step krakens are hard to deal with. He pulled a Garruk, I cloned it but he top deck another and killed my clone. I scooped at this point.

Overall, I feel very comfortable on this deck competitively. There is another match on Wednesday that I will try to get to. Ajani Steadfast wasn't a huge help. He only helped make Courser of Kruphix a threat each game he was out. Going to remove them and add an additional Bow of Nylea. Hydra Broodmaster is fun but not a big enough threat. Removed it and added a Banishing Light. This will give me much better control early game.
