This deck originally ran a land destruction sub-theme and some cards that supported it. Land destruction can't keep up with Breakfast Hulk and Proteus Staff combos, so out it goes.
It also ran Trinket Mage and a series of hateful artifacts like Grafdigger's Cage, but that's also too slow to keep up with Breakfast Hulk, so out it goes.
In place of those packages, I've added...
Countermagic: Misdirection, Mana Leak
Targeted Removal: Rapid Hybridization, Blink of an Eye
Card Draw/Selection: Anticipate, Serum Visions
Hate: Rest in Peace, Containment Priest
I also updated the mana base. Specifically, I managed to reduce the number of ETB tapped lands and cut from 32 to 31 lands, and swap out Everflowing Chalice for an Arcane Signet.
