I really like the deck, +1. I would suggest Isochron Scepter because it combos well with Silence, but you could also use it to reuse the gain 8 life cards. You could also play Sanguine Bond for redundancy, but that would be quite a bit slower.

You also might want some card draw because if your Tainted Remedy gets Force of Will'd you need to get another. And fetches would be good for Rest for the Weary if you can afford them.

Cool deck, got a +1 vote from me, but after playtesting against it I have to say it needs more fetch :-)

Benevolent Offering and Congregate may be worth considering.

Going into red would give you access to Rain of Gore and having a lower costing Tainted Remedy 5 through 8 would give you much more redundancy. Cool idea for a legacy deck. To make room for the Rain of Gores, I would cut Dark Ritual. The rituals do little after the first turn, and this deck doesn't need to be that fast. Other fun cards for this deck would be Needlebite Trap; or in green Invigorate and Reverent Silence since they may just die before your enchantments die.

Another fun cards could be Fiery Justice Sorin Markov Vizkopa Guildmage or maybe even a Rain of Gore + Transcendence lock!

Beacon of Immortality + Tainted Remedy would work well together. Beacon of Immortality would double your opponents life total, but working with Tainted Remedy would drain them of everything instead.

I think I looked up beacon before, pretty sure it doesn't work like that. It just changes life it doesn't make him gain therefore it wouldn't kill him.

False cure does work nice though as a backup incase they destroy tainted remedy.

Beacon of Immortality DOES count as life gain, so it would work. But it can be expensive and risky lol

False Cure is great though, as it's practically a Tainted Remedy that your opponents don't anticipate.

I really like this set up. I designed a standard legal on that rocks so I've been looking up modern and legacy cards to be able to run Tainted Remedy in other formats. This list is a big help. +1 Upvoted

118.5. If an effect sets a players life total to a specific number, the player gains or loses the necessary amount of life to end up with the new total.

found the rule thanks for the insight, Beacon of Immortality instant win

Does it work in Legacy? Or you get uber killed before you get your combo out?

I would add that if I thought about splashing green. Green has good spells but even so that card I way over budget.

I got lucky and a local shop had 2 Groves in good condition for 40$ about 6 months ago. Ping the opponent for 1 every turn is pretty funny. I like this list and these decks are super fun to play with, however I think that False Cure is a nonbo with Tainted Remedy as they won't actually gain any life with the TR being a replacement effect.

False Cure is used as a back up for when the Enchantment is removed, before turn 3, or if you haven't drawn a Tainted Remedy.
