Playtesting: 1 —May 13, 2013

After alot of playtesting and trading around some cards, i've changed around the deck to speed it up a bit as it was too slow. The Hidden Strings helps to untap land for more mana and a quicker game, i'm looking to add in some Jace's Phantasm but i don't have them yet, I also added some Aetherize to the sideboard to counter token decks etc, which are very prominent in my local meta, the ideas have been great, keep em coming xP

Aggro Mill, I like the idea. I like the deck but I would consider Jace's Phantasm and I would move the Hands of Binding into the mainboard as it can be very useful. Maybe drop the Thought Scour 's? Another 2 Artful Dodge can be great for an aggro deck due to its cheap CMC and flashback. Maybe Appetite for Brains ? As for a cheap aggro type creature Delver of Secrets  Flip may be of consideration. Hope this helps. +1 from me

I do like artful dodge, but with 4 Rogue's Passage i found i had too much unblockable potential and not enough of other things, so i left it at 2 for it cost effectiveness, Hands of Binding is a very good card, but i find i only ever need to deal with one or two creatures in that way if atall, but then have in other case's needed to deal with more, so i sideboarded 2,

I'm not a big fan of Jace's Phantasm it's just a big creatue with flying with little cost, but i find i never really need him, i have unblockable for cipher and cards like Nightviel Specter for flying but they give a nice effect (use thespian stage to copy opponents land, to play the exiled cards)

Appetite for Brains is a good idea though, i may have to try it out xP

I would swap the Rogue's Passage for 2x Swamp and 2x Island . The Drowned Catacomb s will almost always enter tapped early game as their isn't many basic land swamp or island. 4x Artful Dodge , and the only reason I say this is that it will be cheaper and rogues passage gives you colourless mana and early game that will be troublesome.

That is true, but i like the Rogue's Passage for the Consuming Aberration , I got the last of the cards for this today, so i'll be playtesting it most of the day to see what is wrong with it, and where it needs to be bumped up, i have a bad feeling you may be right on the Rogue's Passage ><

Though remember that Watery Grave does cause Drowned Catacomb to come in untapped aswell, maybe 2x Rogue's Passage , 1x Swamp and 1x Island might be a good idea?

Actually thats a good point. That's might be a better option. I would still consider more Artful Dodge as well as those 2 Rogue's Passage .
