A deck built around Aether Rift and Search for Survivors. Get big creatures with cycling, cycle, reanimate with Search for Survivors, and start swinging. Krosan Tusker is the best card for this since not only does it replace itself, but it gets me an extra land, and I can reanimate it later.

There's a couple Grim Lavamancer and Writhered Wretch to pick and choose what's in my graveyard. AEther Rift is not bad, since it can function as a burn spell if I discard a big creature, and then reanimate later. Once I get this cycling engine going I can draw a lot of cards, hopefully into the two cards that make my deck do it's thing.

This deck is basically minimizing the required randomness that the cards have as a downside. Also a splash of black for said Withered Wretch and Scion of Darkness. I'm also still developing the sideboard.

Poor man's reanimator for Premodern. Have fun.
