A Beast in the Hand is worth Two in the Deck

Casual Midrange Mono-Green Tribal

CPD

Mono-green beast deck, capable of spewing out massive numbers of creatures after about turn 6-7. Even when it doesn't play very well, it still tends to use up just under half of the deck.

The big two cards are Wirewood Savage and Garruk's Packleader which allow for massive draw power, especially when paired with Primeval Bounty . (I.e. play one beast from your hand, get two cards from your deck, 3 with PB) Therefore, Reliquary Tower is a must so you don't have to discard a massive number of cards, and you can just keep drawing and playing. If you have enough mana, or enough Krosan Warchief 's on the field, you can play multiple creatures, getting more tokens and drawing even more cards.

The later the game runs, the more ridiculous this can get. The best is multiplayer games, where the game can run for a while.

If it seems like you're not going to have a good creature to play for the turn to get the ball rolling, Garruk, Primal Hunter can get the ball rolling for the turn by giving you a 3/3, which triggers both draw creatures, and lets you draw two cards. Alternatively, rolling up Garruk, Caller of Beasts lets you get a bunch of creatures in hand every turn, which you can play and get more in hand.

Compared to many mono-green decks, this deck isn't really about having large creatures, it's about having a LOAD of middle of the road to fairly big creatures, with a few big guns throw in for security.

Some changes that I think I need to make are getting the final two Wirewoods and the last Packleader, if I can find those at a card shop near me. Gristleback doesn't fully work out, so he might be the next to go. He is very nice to have, since I can sac him whenever I need to block and the blocking creature will die anyway.

EDIT/UPDATE: Found the two last Wirewoods, and Gristleback was removed a long time ago now

Anyway, suggestions are more than welcome, and happy beasting!
