This is an extreme budget version of a popular modern build. The main strategy is to go wide fast with mana dorks and tokens, and to then drop an Overrun , Doubling Chant , or Shaman of the Pack . With the right draw, you can do all three things in a row:

• Turn 1: mana dork
• Turn 2: mana dork and Dwynen's Elite
• Turn 3: Shaman of the Pack = 5 points of damage
• Turn 4: Doubling Chant = 10 points of damage
• Turn 5: Overrun = ten trampling creature with 4-6 power each

Beyond that, the rest of the deck is pretty straightforward: Gnarlroot Trapper and Elves of Deep Shadow fix mana, Elvish Visionary and Sylvan Messenger draw cards, and Duress gets board wipes out of your opponent's hand (just be sure to use the Iconic Masters or Core Set 2019 version to stick with the elf theme). Also, if you have an extra buck, sub in two more copies of Dwynen's Elite for Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen .
