currently trying to jam Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts into this deck as an alt wincon

Harvest Pyre could be good in this deck. Hit your reckoner for a ton. Just a thought. Also, this isn't really advice for the cards in the deck, but more for the title. "Skred the Gnar" is a decent title for this deck

Great deck! I also have my own version of Skred Red. Go Skred it on the Mountains . Please check it out! I think it needs help. I do have a question for you, how has Simian Spirit Guide played? I play the Mind Stones over him to try and keep the reoccurring mana as well as late game draw. I understand the a turn 2 and even possible 1 Blood Moon is insanely sweet, but I just don't see it happening on a consistent basis.

Pheardemons, Your list looks very similar to the list I was originally using. I like Mind Stone in a list like yours with the Solemn Simulacrums and Wurmcoil Engines, but with 2 Chandra, Pyromaster and 4 Simian Spirit Guide, I feel like I have enough draw and acceleration with the lower curve. Mind Stone still feels really good in this deck though, I'd like to try and fit it in.

Thanks for looking! Based on the fact that we have two different styles of the deck, and you saying you switched yours, do you feel your list has more consistency? Is it more aggro? Faster? I'm new to this deck and trying to get a feel for as many different types of playstyles as possible.

Pheardemons, I feel like my list is much faster, and I'm still working to increase consistency, but there are reasons to play a higher cmc version like yours as well. There are a lot of decks in modern that simply scoop to a turn 1, 2 or even sometimes turn 3 Blood Moon, which my version takes as advantage. The version you're playing attempts to grind out games and finish with either koth ult, or Wurmcoil Engine, where mine tries to beat in while the opponent can't play magic in the early game.

Thanks for the feedback man! My thought was some decks don't lose to Blood Moon and what is the win condition when Blood Moon fails? I liked the list with Wurmcoil Engines just because that card truly is a powerhouse. Stormbreath Dragon is just quick speed and pro-white in a format that Path to Exile is relevant. I'm looking around for other variations just to see what can be improved upon for my deck. Again thanks for the information and happy Blood Mooning in modern!

I would put in Blood Moon over Magus of the Moon any day of the week.
