Dig Through Time Ban —Sept. 29, 2015

I have switched back to Hymn to Tourach and Liliana of the Veil with the Dig Through Time ban. This deck is definitely tier 1 going into thee new meta. I'm not sure if Dark Confidant is totally needed, but he is great against miracles which i expect to be rampant at the GP.

Depending on the presence of grixis in the coming month, I'm not sure Dismember will be quite as useful. It's definitely out of the main for now.

I'm really worried about Blood Moon but I really don't think I can run any basics...

I think maybe it'd be nice to have more 3 & 4 drops that matter a lot since you have the Deathrite Shaman ramp but not much to take advantage of it.

ClassyShinobi, thanks for the comment!

I always want to add more 2/3 drops to improve the curve. However having Deathrite Shaman allows me to cast a 2 drop like Tarmogoyf without tapping out. This way I still have mana to cast Ponder, Brainstorm, Disfigure, Thoughtseize, Spell Pierce. Sometimes it goes T1 DRS, T2 land > ponder > Drs activation as well

Since this deck is basically play delver, disrupt, cast dig, disrupt, and win I find this type of curve to be bonkers with DR. Santa

I need that extra mana for Thoughtseize and Spell Pierce considering how widely consistent Omni-Tell and TES are right now.
