Zilortha only affects how lethal damage is determined. It does not change the rule that creature with 0 toughness dies due to having 0 toughness. So, if you activate Flowstone Hellion twice, you basically have a 5/5 if you have Zilortha out. If you activate the Hellion a third time, it will die because it has 0 toughness.

Hope this helps!!

Does a combo of Zilortha, Strength Incarnate and Flowstone Hellion work for infinite p/t?

Eiti3 thanks mate!

Yes, I own this deck except for a few fetchlands (Arid Mesa, Misty Rainforest, Verdant Catacombs) and the Imperial Recruiter. I started with magic at the time of 6th Edition and Urza's Saga, probably at age 11 or so, when someone brought a box of cards on a school trip. I bought most of the duals at a time when they were really cheap compared to today, especially the foreign black bordered ones I use in this deck. I remember buying a playset of revised Scrubland for 60 for example and the black bordered lands were around double the price. Too bad I didn't buy more back then (around 9 or 10 years ago).

I like deckbuilding, meaning I want to build decks on my own instead of copying them from someone else. I think my basic idea for this deck was my Legacy deck when Survival of the Fittest was still legal. I think the deck based on tricks with Volrath's Shapeshifter was called "Full English Breakfast"...it worked with Flowstone Hellion and Phyrexian Dreadnought (the later of which could also be cast with Stifle in that deck) but this trick isn't useful for commander, as it only deals a maximum of 23 damage with one attack. Using Phage the Untouchable or Master of Cruelties is a much better surprise nowadays! The commander was chosen because the trick with survival already required all colours except white and therefore I needed a 5-colour Legend.

My idea for the rest of the deck is now less dependent on ONE combo and searching/protecting it but rather that everything I draw can be turned into some combo or useful trick with any tutor. It works quite well in practice because usually one or two combo attempts are countered (not necessarily "Countered" but also destroyed or whatever) but then I still have other options left or ways to recover combo parts. That's why I don't play removals for specific stuff, because when someone disables one of my kill options I find another that doesn't use whatever the opponent has disabled.

For example graveyard hate shuts down some options but it doesn't remove Natural Order from hitting hard. Grafdigger's Cage would prevent that but the Shapeshifter or Aluren combos still work...Aluren would be killed by Trinisphere but that won't prevent any of the other tricks...I think it's quite stable as it is now but I try to constantly improve the deck.
