I put the "end the turn" clause on it because I was thinking thematically here. You go on a safari and generally speaking you are at a nice distance as to not agitate the animals, hence them entering tapped. But you as a person also want to remain calm and cautious, so your turn ends as you aren't expected to do anything other than simply watch.

Now this means nothing during your second main phase, but you get the idea.

(Vedalken Orrery says hi, btw. Literally cancel an opponent's turn during their upkeep for just 3 mana lmao)

So for your next challenge, create another card that abruptly ends your own turn and give it enough of an upside to still be useful! :D

I absolutely am in love with her work and renditions, especially the genre of music she adapts. This particular one, called "My Mother Told Me" resonates something deep within me. I know it sounds silly but, I feel like I've been called back to a simpler time.

It's hard to explain, but it's almost like her music brings back memories and emotions that I never actually experienced in this life. Yet somehow I remember and feel them.

I had a dream last night that the HR lady at work (who very obviously tries to flirt with me all the time at work) was wearing a cheerleader uniform.

In it, I was asked to lead a project management team to pour concrete for some barriers because our semitruck drivers were backing into posts and stuff. So I was told to order the supplies and make some concrete barriers.

The management team and I were in a five star restaurant going over project details and she shows up in a cheer uniform.

So you'd lose 3 + 6 + 9 life, or 18 life in total. Then you'd gain up to 9 mv worth of permanents indefinitely.

Fun Fact: Giant Caterpillar is the only card in the game that makes Butterfly Tokens.

So since we're at it, let's see something else that makes butterfly tokens. They don't have to be the mono-green versions from our hungry hungry caterpillar, nor do they have to be my esper enchantment ones. Bonus points for tying it into the story above.

So she becomes a 12/12 because she costs 10 and gives herself +2/+2. But she has defender and there's only like 3 cards in the game that remove it.

All tokens are removed from the battlefield as state based actions occur because they are 0/0s with their 0 mana value, unless they have tokens and anthems to raise them up. Your tokens survive as 2/2s with her anthem.

Transformed creatures also die, as their flip side has a mana value of 0.

But be careful, she turns all of your opponents 6mv 4/4s into 6/6s.

Although your 6mv 4/4s become 8/8s with her anthem, so yeah

I was given some positive feedback for my Goldfang, Voracious Conscriptor card the other day, (#22 of this page)

So your challenge is to make a simple commander who is built around a very specific archetype. In my case, it was Orzhov Death & Taxes

So my understanding is this:

An Elemental is a "living" creature, naturally made from the world around it such as fire, sand, wind, water, plant matter, carrion, etc. Its when (in our case) the Leylines breathe life into substance and form beings capable of thought and independence. These would NOT be considered "Artifact Creatures".

A Construct is wholly artificial, made with deep and rich magics and technology, usually made out of metal and stone. They can be truly autonomous or designed for specific commands and functions. These would be considered "Artifact Creatures"

Meanwhile a Golem is a religious craft, typically made out of clay or otherwise softer stone. It is usually created to guard areas, and responds directly toward its master. It will protect its area from anything it is told to consider a threat, making them prime guardians that can last for centuries. These COULD BE considered "Artifact Creatures", depending on their composition and more importantly HOW they were made; E.G. religious magics, or technology.

In other words, you could cast it for just and it would gain Suspend 5, then enter with five +1/+1 counters making it an 8/8, which would be ideal for longer games such as Draft, Two Headed Giant and Commander.

How about this; Let's see a Planeswalker with four loyalty abilities, focused around making different Elementals.

While we are on the topic, the Siege counters symbol  ^Flip could also be added.

So this will be a nice couple from Theros and Kaldheim.

Your challenge is to make another interesting Commander, and showcase several cards that would be in their deck starting precon deck.

Remember this is a precon deck, so cards should largely be between $1 and $3 each, with maybe two or three $10 max cards.

And if you look, yes I did adhere to my own rule with Beacon of Creation, Grist, the Hunger Tide and Amzu, Swarm's Hunger being the expensive ones in the list.

So by making it cost MV7, it triggers Zhulodok, Void Gorger.

Basically what this means is, if you cast an Ulamog's Crusher, instead of being able to Cascade into something MV 7 or less, you could cast another MV 8, or even an MV 9 card such as Void Winnower.

The catch is that this only works on the first instance of Cascade each turn.

Okay, so Orzhov is definitely NOT known for its Dragons. Which, now that I think of it, seems like a glaring oversight? I mean Dragons hoard wealth? Sooo...??

Anyway, your challenge is to take another guild and make a legendary creature that the guild is definitely not known for housing or supporting.

For example, you could do a Simic Zombie or a Rakdos Angel.
