Rules Q&A
Storage Matrix
Artifact
As long as Storage Matrix is untapped, each player chooses artifact, creature, or land during his or her untap step. That player can untap only permanents of the chosen type this step.

I'm sorry I missed your reply. Regarding combos, it appears you already have plenty in the deck as well lol.
Blinkmoth Well - Goes with winter orb. If you're feeling for some light stax, Storage Matrix might work given all your artifacts.
Gerrard's Hourglass Pendant - Recur all your artifacts after a wipe and synergy with emrakrul
How has Orb of Dreams been working for you?
Mycosynth Lattice - Artifact synergy + hardlock with Karn

Mystic Forge + artifact cost reducer + Sensei's Divining Top = Draw your entire deck
Chromatic Orrery/Everflowing Chalice (4 Counters) + Voltaic key + rings =
Blinkmoth Well + winter orb = You untap, others don't. Should you enjoy having some mild stax, Storage Matrix is a potential consideration which works as well.
Gerrard's Hourglass Pendant - Synergy with emrakrul. It's great to flash in after a vandablast
Karn, the Great Creator - One sided nullrod which can recur exiled artifacts and can animate opposing artifacts for you to destroy. Adding Myconsith lattice to it would be a hard lock.
Buried Ruin - Recursion

Are you referencing your 3 wincons specifically or the cards miscast, treasure mage and something else? If you're referencing wincons, I think 2 wincons is plenty IMO. Having a third usually takes away from streamlining the other 2. You know what they say, if you want to survive on the island you need to burn the boats. Mechanized production takes way too long for it to be a viable wincon. It's a pretty good card on it's own, but the risk for 2for1 is greater than the potential benefit the card provides IMO. Have you ever won off of it?
Perhaps I'm a degenerate, but some mild, budget stax in the form of Storage Matrix could serve you well. I would recommend static and winter orb but they are more oppressive and not budget friendly.
Regardless of your decisions, I really enjoy the deck. I like the budget, the eggs, theme. Taking a powerful commander and going a different yet effective route, always puts a smile on my face. It's like what I did with my Sidisi deck. I can't wait to see how this deck progresses.

When my turn begins, and Storage Matrix is tapped, am I getting past its trigger? Or is it going to untap in time to include itself as untapped?

I like this idea, but I feel like it needs some draw power and big payoffs - a couple playtests and I was sitting on lands and myr without a big 'this is how I win the game'.
I think the biggest thing would be leaning into green for Winding Way. It would let you grab myrs for the myr gameplan or grab tronlands in the top cards of your library, as well as opening up Ancient Stirrings which finds every card in your deck.
Icon of Ancestry / Brass Herald offers this kind of effect at a higher cmc but colourless.
The difference between 'big mana' tron myr rather than more 'artifacts cost less' myr is that it changes combo options - Myr Retriever loops and Heartless Summoning isn't going to do well. You need some big artifacts that stick and turn your myr into big threats - the myr tribal artifacts only do sorta okay at this, but they're a little light on synergy with each other.
If you want big winning combos, its more likely to be Kuldotha Forgemaster type cards that grab a big artifact threat - most of which would be lore appropriate.
I've had fun with Trading Post in these lists, alongside Myr Sire/Genesis Chamber to create a 'value until your opponent runs out of cards' style, but it does need the myr to be able to trade efficiently.
Trying to stick something like Vanquisher's Banner then play your entire deck, or run things like Thoughtcast, Lead the Stampede or Thought Monitor (with the artifact taplands) are all neat options but would take a lot bigger changes. A slow list built around using myr as mana dorks, artifact lands and Storage Matrix has some potential too, but all these options are getting further away from what the list currently is.
Have fun, and good luck with the playtesting.

Hi there friend! Nice deck :)
I was thinking in that you might need a way to make sure your opponents have creatures, so I would suggest Forbidden Orchard and Dowsing Dagger Flip (with a flyer you can flip it easilly) to give creatures.
Also if you want to be a bastard Storage Matrix could go great in your deck, making your opponents to choose between untaping creatures and lands.
See you :)

Frustrating. I mean to play against.
You have a good list. One suggestion I don't see enough of is In the Eye of Chaos , which I think would be useful to you since most of your instant spells are very low MV. If you did that, though, you'd want to replace Convolute with Mana Leak , or even Spell Pierce . And I'm not sure how the X spells would interact with that either, but honestly I've never liked spells like Clash of Wills and such. I've always found that a good-'ol Counterspell or even something like Wizard Replica is generally more mana efficient for the same result.
Also, Damping Sphere and Storage Matrix . And I personally wouldn't use Defense Grid , because it would hurt you too much. Ok, I'm done.

Well, I highly suggest picking up these stax cards like Winter Orb , Static Orb , Trinisphere and Storage Matrix .
For a less competitive scene Watchdog , Genesis Chamber , Blinkmoth Urn and Howling Mine
The dragon breaks parity with all of those cards :)
