Working on Green White Hydra Deck

Deck Help forum

Ok just a quick first thing, it seems like %90 of the decks you see on here are strictly Commander (EDH) does anyone play anything else lol.

Ok now to my point, I am working on a Hydra Deck, which is going to be a variation of an existing Green White Counter/Token deck I have. I am looking to to go almost strictly Hydras for my big creautres, but I am unsure what to do with the rest of the deck as I need some chump creatures and other things until I get to 5 mana, the cost of most hydras. So far I have the below

4x Kalonian Hydraz 4x Oran Reif Hydras 4x Phyto Hydras 4x Primordial Hydras 4x Primeval Titans

I'm going to run green white, I am thinking maybe some elves to ramp mana in the beginning until I can get a primeval Titan or 2 out and dump mana from my deck. I am considering a Cryptolith Rite so I can tap creatures for mana, mainly white since this will be a green heavy deck. Looking at maybe a Bow of Nylea, and Moonsilver Spear as well and maybe a clensing nova and fumigate for board wipes. Does anyone have any suggestions? It seems a more or less straight Hydra deck isn't popular around here, anymore so than my green white token/counter deck which is pretty viscious if I get enough mana on the board.

What format do you intend to play? My suspicion is Modern, but I always like to be sure.

Also, please link your cards using double brackets, like so:

[[Kalonian Hydra]]

For everyone else's reference:

I'd consider some early-game ramp. Llanowar Elves has been a Green staple since Alpha for good reason. Arbor Elf is another fantastic card, particularly when played alongside Utopia Sprawl. Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx can get out of hand in mono-Green, particularly if you have a number of cards requiring multiple Green to cast (like your Hydrae).

Phytohydra has a cool ability, but it is expensive to cast and takes a while before it becomes bigger, and, lacking trample, is easily chump blocked.

If you are keeping white,Selfless Spirit is a solid sideboard option against opposing boardwipes. Shalai, Voice of Plenty helps shore up one of Hydrae's weak spots, in that they require a good deal of investment, but are easily removed (Primordial Hydra even dying to Fatal Push). It also provides a mana sink, if needed.

That's true. sorry new to the forums, I didn't know about the double brackets. I'm really working a variation of a deck I already have, its poster here. Initially that was focusing on tokens and counters, but I leaned away from tokens more toward counter, there the Kalonian Hydra is VICIOUS, Im not super concerned about early game as I play casual with 2 or 3 other friends so I usually have enough turns early to not worry about getting hit hard. I was definitely looking towards elves for early ramp I actually have a Elf Ramp deck that is vicious, dropping Emrakul, the Aeons Torn turn 5. Thank Shrine to Nyx looks good though. And I was definitely looking into the Selfless Spirit as well. I'm also working on an explosive token deck, but that's a post for another time. Thanks for your advise.
