Deck is a soldier deck that creates multiple soldier tokens over each turn until you are able to play the strong enchantments and artifacts that truly change those simple innocent soldiers into a force that can knock down most others defenses and take out a player in one or two turns.
The deck is comprised of older card formats and was a strong deck in most tournaments back in the early and mid 2000s. It actually won and placed several times in some local card shop tournaments. However, it can be slow, taking 6 or more turns before the deck takes shape leaving the owner (me) vulnerable in the beginning to some very disruptive attacks and life loss. It also can be easily countered for players that know what is coming and have prepared decks against this kind of attack (all one monster type, all one color). With the newer decks over the past decade+ that have come out, I am looking for suggestions that can help with the weaknesses this deck has along with new weaknesses posed by the newer deck sets.
I don’t want to change the main theme of the deck but adding some diversity and off balance features are totally welcome.
