No Mercy was the last remnant of an attempts by the deck to protect itself beyond just by injecting chaos into everything and it really doesn't need it. Toxic Delue was the worst of the 7 board wipes in this deck (surprisingly) because it didn't cause damage and the deck rarely has much life to spare. The artifacts going in are more ways to cheat things into play which are always welcome inclusions for the deck.
