Angels. Vampires. Lifegain!

This is a budget deck built for Standard as of November 2018 at the lovely cost of $11. The idea is to gain life until you can get some heavy hitting angels out to do some damage. Get some early life gain with Child of Night for bulked with Knight's Pledge and Revitalize for . Block some damage with Murder, and then once you get 5+ mana the fun starts.

Vampire Sovereign accelerates the life differential, play your life gain right and Regal Bloodlord will deliver some nice 1/1 Bats for blockers, and bring out the bigger guns with Herald of Faith and Serra Angel. Finish it up with a couple of Serra's Guardian to give everyone Vigilance and ping for 5 with flying.

This isn't meant to be a competitive deck, but it gets you into Standard play for under 15 bucks and will get you some wins at Friday Night Magic. I've found that 24 lands, while a highish number, gives you the ability to start the 5 drops by turn 5, and you can throw down multiple Murder and Knight's Pledge per turn to pile on the pain.
