I got a word of warning for all you would-be zombies. When you join my command, you take on debit. A debit you owe me personally. Each and every zombie under my command owes me one hundred planeswalker brains. And I want my brains.
The undead legion
A standard deck focussed on spawning zombies to destroy any opponent. The deck doesn't have much control. But it makes a cool theme deck focused on necromancy.
Spawners
You want to have a high amount of zombies. So zombies that spawn more zombies are awesome. Diregraf Colossus Will do the job by 1 upping every zombie card you play. It turns casting a zombie spell in a buy 2 pay 1 sale.
Relentless Dead , ohhhh relentless dead, i loved this card as i first set eyes upon it. A zombie that dies and then returns with reinforcements. This card is just 1 big bag of yes and makes it possible for you to keep spawning zombies.
Undead Servant is also a pretty cool spawner. It also makes having to discard a card a lot less troublesome. Just drop the undead servant into the graveyard to watch more zombies crawl out of their graves the next time you cast 1. Glorious. Also triggers when brougt back to the battlefield by relentless zombie. Even more zombies.
The army
Shambling Ghoul and Seagraf Skaab are purely added to add some early playable zombies. They can take the first blows and feed your graveyard, or be cast later to trigger other zombie effects. Effects like Prized Amalgam this means that playing a zombie card is once again a buy 2/3/4/5 and pay 1 sale. All while Risen Executioner gives them a bit more punch. Thanks to him all your summoned tokens will be 3/3 tokens. Try to beat that Daryl.
and what is an army whithout a general? Liliana, Heretical Healer
is eager to join in on the undead fun. Spawning undead and fueling graveyard are her favorite kind of jobs. And for the big problems a opponent throws at us, cough Sorin, Grim Nemesis cough, i added Ruinous Path .
Recap
So what do we have here. We have a deck full of zombies. That respawns zombies, creates new zombies and empowers these zombies. We alck control and i'll have to look into that. Also, to keep relentless dead in the game and to let him revive zombies we'll need a lot of mana. Beyong that i think this will be a fun and pretty powerfull deck.
