A standard deck in Golgari colors marrying the best of four worlds: Cauldron Familiar + Witch's Oven, Knights, Food, and Adventures. The main engine of this deck is the infamous Cat Food combo, however, this deck presents another win condition in the form of using Knights and Adventures. By utilizing Edgewall Innkeeper and Foulmire Knight, card advantage can be generated, along with Trail of Crumbs which can ensure that you get a permanent into your hand nearly every turn for a very low price, given that every card in the deck is technically a permanent due to Adventure cards being creatures everywhere except for the stack. While it may not seem like an effective choice, Curious Pair actually pays dividends with this deck, allowing you to generate Food, and rather rapidly with the addition of Lucky Clover. The use of Lucky Clover with Murderous Rider can sometimes wipe an opponent's entire board, and then you have enough Food that you can sacrifice to gain back all the life you lost from Murderous Rider. This deck consistently goes wide, and as such has the potential to get several Knights onto the board with which to deal damage, and sometimes the killing blow, with Smitten Swordmaster. Order of Midnight is another great card in the deck because if you have run out of Food for Cauldron Familiar or your Smitten Swordmasters or Murderous Riders have gone to the graveyard, you can just get them back to your hand for 2 mana. All in all, this deck is very fun and satisfying to play, and is pretty consistent.
