Standard Life Gain Deck featuring Ajani Goldmane. Still a prototype.

Strategy:Winning goes by accumulating 40 life and having a Felidar Sovereign on the field.

Tactics:You don't HAVE to deal damage to your opponent, so be defensive. Use the Goldenglow Moth s and the Lone Missionary s to chump block, Ajani's Pridemates will become very strong over time, especially with Ajani's Mantra on the field. Serra Ascendant makes a decent weenie that becomes uber large as soon as you are at 30 life. The Felidar Sovereign comes late. Maybe you already have 40 life when he enters battlefield. Luminous Wake makes good on your Pridemates or the 5/5 Ascendants

Problems:Your opponent will try to counter or remove your Sovereigns, so keep them protected. In late game, both Ascendants and Pridemates will become quite large and you should always attack if possible. Ajani Goldmane will help here, because he will give your creatures vigiliance or spawn very big tokens. So your opponent will have LOTS of targets and he can't afford to let them live either.

Sideboard:Everything agains artifacts and enchantments, also Angel's Feather which only pays off when your opponent plays white, too.

What could be added:

  • Something to nullify combat damage or damage generally.
  • Swords to Plowshares, as you may use it both as a removal (the extra life your opponent gets yre useless for him) and a winning spell if you cast it on your own creatures.
