Took second in an EDH tournament at my LGS. First round went smooth and I combo'd with little interaction. Winner's pod was a little rough with tons of resets. All of my main wincons went to the grave (Psychosis, Charmbreaker, Time Warp) and Time Warp got eaten by Scavenging Ooze. I was only able to disrupt the other deck's combos and try to salvage my own with Body Double, but without my extra turns it was nearly impossible to set up while leaving enough mana to threaten the Cyclonic Rift overload. Karador managed to combo when I was out of answers, but I lost last, and so took second place.
Change made before the match:
Urban Evolution -> Pact of Negation Because 0 mana counterspells are nifty.
Zealous Conscripts -> Solemn Simulacrum
Trying out adding much more ramp to smooth out my early game.
After the match I realize I'm pretty heavily dependant on Time Warp to win, so I'm going to try to get my hands on Walk the Aeons. It's pretty awesome because in a pinch I can cast it twice at the cost of a few lands. If I land Omniscience, I can cast it repeatedly without the need for any copy effects.
