Take out Life's Legacy , board advantage is more important then hand advantage in most decks including this one.

Replace Heroes' Bane with Primordial Hydra

I have been thinking about taking out Life's Legacy for something else. As far as legal goes it is a legal standard deck this site for whatever reason says that Paragon of Eternal Wilds , Genesis Hydra , and Hornet Queen are illegal but if you look at wizard of the coast official website and look under the current standard block none of these cards are listed as illegal in fact the current block has no illegal cards. I would put in Primordial Hydra but it isn't in the current standard block.

Unravel the Aether deals with gods man or if youre broke and cant afford the like 10 cents that card is worth there is Fade into Antiquity

With this deck Fade into Antiquity probably be better than Unravel the Aether because of the exile instead of giving your opponent another chance of drawing that God card. Probably put it in the side board since this deck seems to overwhelm your opponent pretty easily. Thanks for the suggestion

check out my green devotion deck. much of the same concept. But a must have for this deck is chord of calling. with it you can use things at instant speed to deal with threats. for three extra mana you can play any creature from your deck at any time. This means that you can play one ofs in the deck such as reclimation sage to deal with enchantments like banishing light and chain to the rocks, you can use phyrexian revokers to deal with pesky plainswalkers. you can use it to flash in a nyleas disciple to gain some life that would keep you alive against things like burn. i would move the mistcutters to the sideboard because there are better options for a match with no blue. also burning tree emmissary is amazing for this deck. it is a 2/2 body that gives mana back after casting AND fuels nykthos with 2 devotion. its a must have for the deck. it means turn one you can play an elvish mystic, turn two you can play a voyaging satyr after a burning tree, and then turn three play nykthos and you have 6 mana to play with on turn three. which means garruk is accessible in some situations on turn three. if that happens its very hard for another deck to keep up, even if you only +1 garruk once. The decks looks awesome. Check out mine and tell me what you think.

I would definitely remove both Heroes' Bane . It's not as good as you might think. Replace them with 1 Hornet Queen FOR SURE and 1 of the following: another Hornet Queen , Mistcutter Hydra , Sylvan Caryatid or Courser of Kruphix .

Or a 4th Polukranos, World Eater !

this is coming from someone who plays fnm and opens all the time. all decks need 4 pookie. if he is out your generaly winning. another thing you might want to try is G/B dev adding blossems and doomwake for carddraw and field wipe. (this also adds the G/B god who makes whip useless. but gl enjoy the best card in standard atm go nissa.
