Mono Black Human Stax Tribal

Casual

40 humans, 20 swamps, is this a joke?

I've been slowly putting together a human deck for each color and here's the black version.

Braids, Cabal Minion and Magus of the Abyss are unfun and unfair in a deck where half the creatures can produce a token creature of some kind. If you manage to have both out, please remember to stack their triggers on your turn to target your creature then put braids trigger on top and sacrifice your target (Magus trigger fizzles), then reverse triggers for an opponent so they always lose two permanents.

Grim Haruspex and Priest of the Forgotten Gods provide a little draw to keep us ahead. Ruthless Ripper and Orzhov Enforcer having deathtouch has been surprisingly relevant, resulting in opponents hesitating to swing before losing their field one at a time to sacrifice triggers. Skirsdag High Priest activates almost every turn, usually with the aid of some just created zombie tokens. The tokens don't mind summoning sickness at all when helping pump out a new demon buddy. Priest of the Forgotten Gods and Orzhov Enforcer are two very recent additions to the deck, replacing a couple black rebels. Priest of the Forgotten Gods has been shockingly good with the extra mana produced helping hit higher casting costs for our 4 drops.
